From the Desk of the Editor

I think you'll find this month's Angelus excellent reading. Fr. Laisney opens it on page two by responding to Archbishop May's demand to traditional Catholics, "to make a choice" between Archbishop Lefebvre and the new church.

Open Letter to Archbishop May

Father Laisney wrote to Archbishop May of St. Louis, where the SSPX District HQ is located, pointing out the stark contrast that exists between the faith he promotes and that of Archbishop Lefebvre. Indeed, the faithful "are going to have to make their choice now."

In Defense of Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre

The purpose of this article, an open letter from Wayne Nichols to the Editor of the Remnant, is not to attack the Remnant, nor the person of Mr. Opelle. Neither is Mr. Nichols seeking to keep up a running feud, but merely to defend the position of His Grace, Msgr. Marcel Lefebvre.
