Just before going to press, the news came to us concerning Archbishop Lefebvre's decision to consecrate four bishops on June 30, with or without Vatican approval.

It seems to me that there are especially four sources of this crisis of faith in the Church: Collegiality, Religious Liberty, Ecumenism, and the new Liturgy. I want to speak a little bit about these four errors, which are very serious and are a threat to the life of the Church.

A Belloc Prophecy

Had Belloc been able to comment upon the liturgical revolution his opinion would have been of considerable interest to traditional Catholics. It is possible that Belloc did make such a comment in the form of a prophecy contained in his book The Four Men published in 1912.
